The Klaus-Peter Heise Memorial Day.
St John Ambulance Drogheda held a First Aid Competition Today to help us all remember Klaus-Peter Heise, but also to remember his dedication and the service he gave to us and the people who needed it throughout Drogheda. Klaus Peter sadly past away on 23rd Sept 2014, so along with his Family George, Barbara, Claudia and Sebastian, the Division run’s a competition each year in Memory of Klaus-Peter.
The winner’s of the 2nd year’s competition are as follow:
Seniors:
1st Place – Jelena Saksina,
2nd Place – Sarah Maher,
3rd Place – Colin Maher
4th Place Anthony Dunne.
Cadets:
1st Place – Liam El-Masry
2nd Place (Joint) Leah Wade and Megan Malone
3rd Place Lauren Kelly.
We would like to Thank the following : Klaus-Peter family/friends and colleagues who attended the presentations, were Barbara(Klaus’s Mam) and George (Klaus’s Dad) presented the shield to the winners. We also thank the Commissioner of St John Ambulance Ireland Mr John Hughes for attending the event.
Raheny Division for providing the patients, Local Business “Crazy Castles Bounce Castles” for providing several items for the day. (Disco Dome, Swinging Boats, Candy Floss and Popcorn Machine.
The examiners : District Officer Sheamus Power (AP), Desmond Wade (AP), Paul Ruigrok (Para) and Jamie Bollard (EMT).
Supt Colin Maher said Well done to all who took part and a great turn out. He thanked all for there support.
Commissioner Mr Hugh’s also congratulated all those who took part and attended the event. Klaus-Peters Mam also Thanked everyone for taking part and was delighted with the turnout of Seniors and Cadets.
