Glanmire First Aid Course begins 2nd October 2017

Glanmire Division is pleased to announce that an adult first aid course will begin on 2nd October 2017, running for 8 weeks on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The course will be held in St John Glanmire’s premises at Glanmire Industrial Estate, Sallybrook.

Topics covered include;

Managing Incidents
Resuscitation/CPR including AED
Poisoning
Patient Examination
Fractures
Miscellaneous Injuries
Priorities of First Aid
Control of Bleeding
Communications
Unconsciousness
Wounds & Dressings
Heart Attacks
Strokes
Burns & Scalds

The cost of this course is €120.
