The Limerick City Division of St John Ambulance has three active groups the Adult, the Cadets and the Cycle Response Unit. One of our primary activities at St. John Ambulance is providing emergency medical cover at community events. We cover all sorts of events, from GAA, soccer and rugby to festivals, horse riding and running events. We have at our disposal a state-of-the-art fleet of ambulance vehicles, excellent medical equipment, and a dedicated crew, trained to PHECC standards. Our volunteer teams are made up of Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency First Responders, and First Aiders, ensuring that our patients receive the best level of care. We cover many events in Limerick City area & surrounding counties. We are also one of the main providers in first aid & ambulance services to the University of Limerick who host many major corporate & sporting events throughout the year. We also provide assistance to our colleagues in other divisions around the country & to our National HeadQuarters when requested
